Mother’s Day, Solitude & Softness: Inside Our Intimate Pilates Gathering at Golden Hour

Mother’s Day, Solitude & Softness: Inside Our Intimate Pilates Gathering at Golden Hour

Ahead of Mother’s Day, we created a slower kind of gathering.

On May 4th, at Golden Hour, we invited a group of inspiring women and creators to come together for an intimate wellness experience centered around movement, emotions, and connection.

This event welcomed creators including @Nadezhda, @Yana, @Lidiya.

There was no pressure, no loud agenda, it felt more like a pause from everyday life. A space for women to reconnect with themselves and with each other. Mother’s Day is more than giving flowers or gifts. It’s also a reminder that while women spend so much time caring for others, they deserve to care for themselves too.

That’s the idea behind this event’s theme: Solitude.

Not loneliness, but a quiet return to self. A moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body and emotions. The space was filled with soft natural light, calming scents, and gentle music. The class began with mindful breathing and stretching before flowing into a Pilates movement session.

Rather than focusing on intensity, we wanted every guest to feel present, relaxed, and grounded. Throughout the experience, guests moved through guided meditation, core activation, body stretches, and partner exercises designed around awareness and emotional connection rather than performance. The idea of Solitude was woven into every detail of the experience:

• Soft lighting and calming scents upon arrival

• Quiet journaling moments before class

• Slow-flow Pilates and yoga movements

• Emotional connection through partner exercises

• Open conversations and shared moments after class

We realized once again that what truly creates connection is not the event itself, but the feeling of being safe, understood, and able to fully relax.

Many of the creators weren’t simply attending for content, they were genuinely immersed in the experience. Some stayed quietly in the space after class, some opened up about life and emotions, and others simply enjoyed the rare feeling of slowing down.

To close the evening, guests were invited to create their own Mother’s Day bouquets.

Everyone carefully selected flowers by hand, arranging and wrapping bouquets with intention and love.

Some said they wanted to gift them to their mothers. Others smiled and said, “I think this bouquet is for myself.”

More than a gift-making activity, it became a moment of emotional expression. The atmosphere turned even softer as everyone gathered together, choosing flowers, sharing conversations, taking photos, and enjoying a peaceful moment after movement.

And perhaps that is what Solitude truly means.

Solitude is not about being alone. It’s about finding stillness within yourself, while becoming more connected to others. Maybe that’s also why so many women today are drawn to wellness communities and Pilates gatherings.Because it’s never just about movement, it’s about comfort, belonging, and gentle connection.

This Mother’s Day, we hope every woman can experience a moment like this: to feel seen, cared for, and softly held.
