Introduction | About the PTT
On January 17, 2026, Gina Murray’s Pilates Teacher Training (PTT) officially began at LIBRE // Aerial Fitness + Pilates in Miami.
Pilates professionals and advanced practitioners from across South Florida gathered in this light-filled, strength-centered space to begin a structured and systemized training journey. More than the first day of class, it marked the beginning of their transition into professional-level teaching.
Everleaf participated as the official apparel sponsor, providing performance training sets for Gina and her trainees while supporting the program throughout its instructional process.
For Everleaf, this was not simply a brand partnership. It was a deliberate choice — to step into professional education environments and stand alongside those shaping the future of movement.

Program Overview | Building a System of Teaching
The PTT curriculum was designed around the development of structured teaching capability, covering:
-
The history and evolution of Pilates
-
Core principles and control mechanics
-
Body systems and movement foundations
-
Classical exercise breakdown
-
Intelligent sequencing and class design
At the beginning of the program, Gina Murray provided a comprehensive introduction to the training framework.
Born and raised in Miami, Gina holds Polestar Pilates Mat certification and PMA credentials. In 2024, she became one of a select group of Lululemon Ambassadors in South Florida. Known for combining anatomical precision with warmth and clarity, she has built a reputation for rigorous yet human-centered instruction.
During her opening remarks, she emphasized:
“A great teacher is not someone who can perform the movement — but someone who truly understands it.”
This philosophy became the guiding principle of the entire training experience.

Training in Practice | Precision, Control, and Awareness
The studio atmosphere throughout the weekend was focused and grounded.
Unlike a typical group class flow, this teacher training emphasized breakdown and comprehension. Each exercise was layered and deconstructed. Every activation pathway was refined through repetition and correction.
Gina consistently reinforced:
-
Initiate movement from the core, not momentum
-
Slow the tempo — stability before extension
-
Breath precedes effort; breath controls movement
-
Alignment determines efficiency and safety
During abdominal control work, she reminded trainees:
“Don’t chase range. Find stability first. Lock the core, then extend the limbs.”
This level of detail created a highly professional learning environment. Trainees were not simply performing exercises — they were building body awareness and teaching language simultaneously.
Within this setting, apparel functioned beyond aesthetics. Everleaf’s technical fabrics and supportive construction allowed instructors to demonstrate, assist, and cue for extended periods with comfort and freedom of movement. The sets supported clarity and focus — without distraction.
